Dr. McCalman is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed General Surgery training at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Her Fellowship in Metabolic Weight Loss/Bariatric Surgery was received at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Along with her extensive training, Dr. McCalman was awarded a fully accredited Bariatric Center by Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
Dr. McCalman is a Texas native who enjoys various outdoor activities, cooking, photography, attending church and her family. She is married with two children.
