Dr. Peel is a Texas native and holds medical and public health degrees from the George Washington and Johns Hopkins Universities. He completed his General Surgery training at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
As chief resident at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Peel gained expertise in complex surgical procedures. He was trained and mentored by world-renowned surgeons.
Dr. Peel’s surgical experience includes advanced laparascopic, single-incision, cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal, endocrine, colon and rectal, and emergency/trauma surgeries. He is a leader in minimally invasive, single incision, vein, weight management, emergency trauma surgery and incisionless surgery.
Dr. Peel, his wife Mandie and their five children reside in Beaumont, Texas. They are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont. Dr. Peel serves on the Board of Directors for several community organizations in South East Texas to include, The Spindle Top Center and The Southeast Texas Food Bank. He is President of the Jefferson County Medical Society. Dr. Peel practices at Memorial Herman Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
